Starting from "zero" and reaching till the top not just ones but twice in consecutive years is not a joke. It takes 5PM-7PM daily. Playing for the team who has this much courage and enthusiasm, is the most amazing part of my IITH life. Thanks to Akbar sir and all team-mates for “BELIEVING” in me and making me believe in “BELIEVE”. 
IITH FC will always remain close to my heart.

 "One of the best moments in life is when you sweat your blood for a bigger cause and to win and see the happiness in the faces of your teammates. I literally spent more time on the ground than with the books! Started my FC career as a fat 75 kg stopper , got a straight red in Delhi, shifted to right wing back to win Bronze in KGP ,finally retiring as a playmaker after scoring two goals to help my team reach semis in Roorkee. All this taught me two very important lessons in life – never cease to BELIEVE and the power of will and hardwork. #IITH FC –One Love \m/ "

"But one thing that I will miss the most is Football. My love with it has grown every passing day at IITH. Practically it is what I have done in the past 4 years. I have sweated it out and given it all to achieve something for the institute and I am glad to be one of the major reasons for the BRONZE!!!Some people can snatch away some individual awards that I deserved but no one can snatch the feeling of a bronze. Well it’s okay, they don’t have a bronze either and I am overwhelmed that this medal was purely based on merit. No chance of any politics being involved!!!"
